What it does
An MCP server lets an AI assistant use another product's data and actions through the Model Context Protocol. Reach's server gives the assistant your Google Business Profile as Reach sees it: the listing, its reviews, how it performs, where it ranks, who ranks nearby, and the leads it brings in.
It is built for owner-run businesses with one to five locations, such as clinics, salons, cafes and gyms, and for the staff and agencies who manage them. You ask in plain language and the assistant picks the tools.

What happens before a change
Every tool that changes your public profile goes through the same four steps.
- The assistant prepares the change and shows it to you: a preview of profile edits and photos, or the exact words of a post or review reply.
- Nothing happens until you say yes in the chat.
- Tools that change Google are marked as destructive, so assistants that support approval prompts also ask you to approve the call itself.
- Reach checks again that the assistant has not been blocked and that the business is within 20 Google changes per hour, then makes the change.
When a limit is reached, the tool tells the assistant how many seconds to wait. It does not queue or retry the change.
Your data and privacy
- The assistant acts as you, with exactly your access: the same locations, plan limits and permissions you have in Reach. It never sees your password.
- Tool results go to the assistant you connected, under that assistant's own data terms. Reach does not store the results of read tools.
- Customer phone numbers from leads reach the assistant masked to their last four digits.
- Reach logs each tool call (tool, time and outcome) for 90 days so you can see what an assistant did.
- To disconnect, open Settings, then AI Connectors in Reach and block one assistant or all of them. A block applies from the next request.
What it cannot do
- Without Google connected in Reach, the assistant sees your public listing only, and each result says which data is hidden and why.
- It cannot unlock features outside your plan. It tells you which plan includes them and stops.
- It does not run on your computer. Reach hosts the server; there is nothing to self-host.

- Do I need an API key or a Google Cloud project?
- No. You sign in with your Reach account in the browser, and Reach connects to Google for you. The assistant never sees your password.

- No. Every change to Google is shown to you first and waits for your approval, and each business can make at most 20 Google changes per hour through assistants.
- Is it free?

- Can I manage more than one location?
- Yes. The assistant sees every location your Reach account can access, up to your plan's limit: 2 on Starter and 5 on Business.
