How it works
The generator writes three replies to one review at a time, plus a short list of things to keep out of your reply. You stay the author: nothing is posted anywhere from this page.
- Pick the star rating the customer gave and paste their review.
- Add your business name and type if you want the replies to mention them.
- Read the drafts, pick the closest one and edit it until it sounds like you.
- Copy the reply, open the review in your Google Business Profile and post it there.
What you give and what you get
You give the writer three things:
- The star rating, so a five-star thank-you is never offered an apology.
- The review text, which decides what the replies answer and which language they are written in.
- Optionally, your business name and type, so the replies can speak as your business.
You get three replies to choose from: warm, brief and formal. Each one thanks the reviewer for something specific, answers their point by name and, on a complaint, says sorry for the exact problem. Under them, a short "Don't mention" list flags what an owner is most tempted to write here and should not. Every reply is a draft: edit it before you post it.
Replies for each star rating
Each rating needs a different reply. These pages show the approach for one rating, with two example replies and the generator already set to it.

Method and limits
One model call reads the rating, the words and any business details you gave, then writes all three styles side by side, so they differ in length and tone but never in what they promise.
Inside Reach the drafts also learn from your own published replies. This page has none of your replies, so it writes plainly instead of matching a house voice. The rules the drafts follow:
- Invent nothing: no phone numbers, email addresses, prices, names or policies you did not provide.
- Never promise a refund, a discount or compensation.
- Never claim something already happened, such as a refund issued or a staff member spoken to.
- Name every complaint and say sorry for it, in the review's own language and script. Thanking the reviewer and skipping the problem is the most common mistake owners make.
Google's own guidance is short: helpful, polite replies show customers you are responsive, and a reply is public under your business's name. Reviews that break Google's policies are reported, not argued with.
To keep the tool free, use is limited per day for each visitor, and the tool pauses for everyone if a day's total is reached. A limit message tells you when that happens.

Privacy
The review you paste and the names you type are sent to the drafting model once and are not stored by Reach. The replies are not saved either: they live in this page until you close it.
To enforce the daily limits, Reach keeps a counter keyed by a one-way hash of your network address and of a random device cookie. The counters hold no review text and expire on their own.
Worked example
Four illustrative reviews written for this page, not real customers, with the kind of reply that works for each.
A good review: thank the specific thing
Name what they praised, thank them once, and stop. A long reply to a short compliment reads as a template.
Dr. Mehta explained every step of my root canal and it didn't hurt at all. Front desk got me in the same week.
Thank you, Priya. We'll pass your words on to Dr. Mehta, and we're glad the same-week slot worked out. A root canal is nobody's favourite appointment, so hearing it went smoothly means a lot to the whole team.
A mixed review: take the good and answer the problem
Thank them for what worked, then deal with the complaint plainly. Offer a way to follow up without promising anything you cannot check from here.
Coffee is excellent and the staff are lovely, but we waited 25 minutes for two sandwiches on a Saturday.
Thanks, Tom, we're glad the coffee and the team hit the mark. Twenty-five minutes for two sandwiches is too long, and Saturday lunch is when our kitchen gets stretched. We're looking at how we prep for it. If you come in again, tell us at the counter and we'll make sure your order moves.
A Hindi review about a long wait: own the wait
The reviewer liked the doctor but waited 50 minutes and found billing slow. A good reply names both problems, says sorry once and keeps the promise on the clinic's side. It never tells them to come earlier next time.
A negative review: stay calm and take it offline
Acknowledge the specific problem, do not argue in public, and give one way to reach you. Keep it short: other customers read how you handle complaints.
Plumber arrived three hours late and didn't call ahead. Fixed the leak but I lost half a day of work.
Sam, thank you for telling us, and you're right to be frustrated. Arriving three hours late without a call cost you half a day, and that is not how we want to work. We're glad the leak is fixed, and we'd like to understand what happened with your booking. Please call us on [phone] so we can talk it through, and next time we'll call ahead.
Questions
- Is the Google review reply generator free?
- Yes. You do not need an account or a card. Use is limited per day to keep it free for everyone; if you reach the limit, the page tells you, and you can come back the next day or sign in to Reach.
- Does this tool post my reply on Google?
- No. It only writes drafts. You copy the reply you want and post it yourself from your Google Business Profile. Reach can post replies for you once you connect your profile, but only after you approve each one.
- What language will the reply be in?
- The same language and script as the review. A review in Hindi gets replies in Hindi, and a review in romanised Hindi gets replies in Latin letters.
- Should I reply to every Google review?
- Replying to good and bad reviews alike shows people reading your profile that someone is listening. Short replies are fine for short reviews; complaints deserve a specific answer.
- Can I reply to a negative review without making it worse?
- Acknowledge the problem in plain words, do not argue about the details in public, and offer one way to follow up. The drafts follow that pattern and never promise refunds or compensation.
- What if a review is fake or breaks Google's rules?
- Report it to Google from your Business Profile instead of arguing in the reply. If you do reply, keep it brief and factual; readers judge the business by its tone.
