How it works
Pick your kind of business and the job, add your details, and copy a prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or any assistant you use. Each prompt carries Google’s own rules for that job, so the draft you get back is closer to something you can post.
- Choose your kind of business and the job: review replies, posts, the description, customer questions or offers.
- Add your business name, area and what customers love. Leave any of them blank to fill in the chat.
- Copy a prompt into your assistant, paste in the review or post it asks for, and read the draft before you post it.
Method and limits
The rules each prompt carries
Review replies follow Google’s tips: short, polite, specific, and never a reviewer’s private details. Posts and offers keep phone numbers, emails and links out of the text, because Google’s posts help says those can get a post rejected. Descriptions stay under 750 characters with no URLs, prices or promotions, from Google’s description guidelines.
What a prompt can’t do
A prompt only knows what you give it. It has not read your reviews or your profile, and an assistant can state hours, prices or services that are wrong. Check every draft against your real business before you post it.
Privacy
The prompts are fixed templates filled in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored, and no AI model runs on this page.
Questions
- Does Google allow AI-written replies and posts?
- Google’s rules apply to what is posted, whoever wrote it: the posts content policy for posts and offers, and the description guidelines for your description. Read every draft and post only what is true.
- Why keep phone numbers out of posts?
- Google’s posts help says a post with a phone number in the description might be rejected if the number can’t be verified as the business’s. Use the post’s Call button instead.
- How long can my Business Profile description be?
- Up to 750 characters, with no URLs or HTML, and about your business rather than promotions or prices. Those limits come from Google’s description guidelines.
- What happened to questions and answers on Google Maps?
- Industry reports say Google discontinued the Q&A API on 3 November 2025 and is replacing Q&A on Maps with answers drawn from your profile. That comes from industry reports, not a Google help page. Either way, put what customers ask into your description, services and attributes.
- Are my details sent anywhere?
- No. The prompts are filled in your browser and nothing is stored. What you paste into ChatGPT or Claude follows that assistant’s own terms.
